Installed the JWT Popcharger and Z-tube and ...

I am getting a whistling sound when i accelerate. Has anyone else gotten this whistling sound and is it normal?

Very normal. Get a spacer or an aftermarket upper plenum and then listen to how loud it is

It is definitely normal...and one of the reasons I switched to the Popcharger/Z-Tube combo.

Normal. Gotta love it. The PC is so much better than the K&N drop in with the stock airbox.

i second that! I didn't notice if my popcharger got louder after I installed the spacer though.

normal sounds good...i put the spacer on and it is damn loud at >4krpm!

jiggafree doesn't know what he's talking about......=)

normal sound sgood, PC sounds better. if you have 6mt, when you shift, it sounds like BOV =)

does the stillen airbox have the same sounds as the JWT PC?

Thanks for responding. i do not mind the sound, just wanted to be sure that it is normal. With the popcharger, it is definitely loud at higher RPM'S.

wait i might of ask this before....i have the injen filter...should i keep it or change it for like a K&N or JWT filter??? would it make a difference with the sound or naw?? THANKS

Nice I like this setup, its a head turner when you accelerate past people. Can't wait for the HKS exhaust now.
