you will need to purchase the 6" extension pipe (mynismo.com sells this). in addition, if you do not want it to look tucked, you still need to get it custom extended 2 more inches for it to look right.

If you buy the Nismo kit you will get muffler, Y-pipe and mid-pipe. You need the 6" (its actually 8") extension to go from the mid-pipe to the muffler. The tips are too short as seen in the pics. You will need to cut the tips off, add 2-3 inches ( I used a 3" piece so I could overlap the existing pipes) to bring them out to the correct length. There have been numerous posts on this. Please use the search.

so if the 6" extension is actually 8 inches...youll need a grand total of 10 inches more?

interesting..i wonder why they call the *" extention a 6" extension...that's stupid imo

Agreed. The 2 or 3 inches will depend upon how you remove the tips. In my case I grinded the origional welds out to remove the tip then had it butt welded to the tips and overlap the muffler pipe. I think the real key will be to find someone who can weld stainless. That was my problem, no muffler shop would touch it. I finally took it to my tuner to do it.

seems like a lot of trouble for an exhaust that (from what i know) isn't even a true dual exhaust system. ya it's nismo, but why not use the money on the Fast Intentions or HKS exhaust systems?

some people like the subtle look of the nismo. and some people want to keep the stock sound with a minor enhancement.
