Yep, it is true. Only gains to be had are weight savings (I guess around 10-15 lbs but I didn't weigh mine when I put it on). It will also give a slight bit of drone.

As you've found out, you won't get that....exhausts are completely different. Now if you go with a nice HKS sport muffler (I have one) or a Stillen or Borla....then you'll get a great growl that's BETTER than the coupe exhaust IMHO.

BTW - great score on the free parts!!! See if he'll hook you up with his stock suspension & now you've got yourself a nice OEM lowering kit that runs about $150-$200 used!

hey thanks for the info yeah i was happy to get those freeparts but unfornutely he already sold his suspension already too bad for me but i will look up on those exhausts and suspension, thanks again!
