Questions for Stillen Exhaust owners

How big are the tips on the dual wall? Does it pretty much retain the stock look or are they smaller? Does it say Stillen on top of the tips? I am trying to decide between Stillen and Fast Intenetions and looks are creeping into the decision making process. Soundwise, I am starting to lean towards FI too. My problem is I already ordered a Stillen. Thanks.

The stillen rear muffler is not a true dual in/dual out. It is dual 2 1/4" in, single 3" out. Then they weld on a section with the dual tips. And yes it does say "Stillen" on them. I got the Stillen Gen 1 sedan catback when it first came out and still have a modified version (longer resonators) on the car. It's one of the best performing catbacks for the sedan and the Gen 2 is supposed to be quieter. But the FI looks like it is going to be top notch. If I was you, I would wait for the FI unless it is going to be hundreds $$$ more than the Stillen.

Are you Sedan or Coupe? The Stillen Coupe exhaust is not a single muffler with dual inlet for that car.

FI has a sale going on now in the marketplace too...Rick

Coupe. Yes Rick I saw it. It's making me lean that way. Is the aluminized about the same weight as the other finishes?

The aluminized is 2-3lbs heavier than stock, and the SS's are 3-4lbs. lighter than stock.

Definitely go with the Fast Intentions Intimidator system. Its true dual, gains you 11whp and 9lb-ft torque, has a mean sound to it, great quality parts and some of the best customer service you can get. Whats to complain about it? Nothing I love mine

The Stillen exhaust tips for the coupe are very similar in size to stock. You have an options of single wall tips or dual wall tips. Installation is very easy.

The Stillen Dual Wall tips looked stock to me when I saw them. Yea they said "Stillen" on top of them, but the way the tips tucked under the bumper, you couldn't see the writing unless you tried.

The FI stsyem is beautiful too, make no mistake about it.

sorry to say again the stillen gains are better. Anyways yes the stillen tips do look exhaust. As for the mufflers i guess you can say they look stock, but really they dont. First off they are alot more narrow vs the stock exhaust and the stillen is polished or chrome (one of the 2) vs the stock exhaust which looks like used rootbeer cans.
