none...they are just for making the G sound better.

I say a combination of pop charger and Z-tube.

Intakes.........which one?

Welcome new guy.........there are loads of intakes on the market for our
cars. Some of the units require removing the frontend to install....these
also have issues with rain/water destroying your motor. Some are polished
and look nice but have issues with heat.....this you don't need! I have had
the Z-Tube/Stillen cold air box on my G for two years. I contains a very
large K&N filter and looks stelth. If you take your time you can install it
in less than half an hour + it sounds great. These are available from
www.everythingg35.com a sponsor on this site.....nice people to deal with.
Good Luck and keep modding.............

Not really, the CAI has a longer tube so the sound will echo a little bit more in the tube adding a louder sound. None of the CAI do anything for the car UNLESS you get a tune. Then there is a big difference. The reason why the CAI or regular short ram dont add any more power is because the ECU that nissan designed for the car is so restrictive. It will not allow more air into the engine past stock. So the even if you have something to allow more air in it wont let it. Now once you over ride the stock ECU setting then you will see different gains for different air intakes. A CAI will provide the most power of all of them once you tune the ECU.

350z tube + k&n drop-in. more air... less money than the others. if you like it louder, go ahead and spend the extra $100-$200 for it. lol

Good call but I'd recommend the Amsoil drop-in instead

+1 on the amsoil. no oil + reusable. z-tube and amsoil drop-in for cheapest and most practical.

easy answer... if you want to keep it as quiet as possible add just a KN air filter. other than that take out the silencer tube and put in a z tube or stillen tube, they're the exact same thing. It will save u hundreds of dollars but wont look as cool!

Get the AFE Intake. According to them they say it would give you 13hp and 15ft-lbs. Oh yeah they were also the same people that claimed 19hp and 21ft-lbs on the 350z forum.
