Not really, the CAI has a longer tube so the sound will echo a little bit more in the tube adding a louder sound. None of the CAI do anything for the car UNLESS you get a tune. Then there is a big difference. The reason why the CAI or regular short ram dont add any more power is because the ECU that nissan designed for the car is so restrictive. It will not allow more air into the engine past stock. So the even if you have something to allow more air in it wont let it. Now once you over ride the stock ECU setting then you will see different gains for different air intakes. A CAI will provide the most power of all of them once you tune the ECU.

When you say override the ecu, do you mean just resetting it?
its all sounds, so i mean which ever one appeals to you.......i like the whistle of injen.......none fo these intakes provide any power, jst better air flow and some noise
