Been Looking into the K&N CAI. This will be my 1st mod and CAI seems to be the way to go on the whole 1st mod approach. I have heard people talkn about the Nissmo and Injen as well. Is K&N a good CAI or are the other 2 afformentioned better?.

the injen and nismo, i heard, are basically the same thing. injen claims something like 14.2 hp increase and 11.6 torque? i think. nismo shouldn't be far off from that if more or the same. except, nismo is about 50-60 dollars more than injen depending on where u find it, since it does come with a bypass which is safer in case u drive onto a puddle or something.

i personally like the k&n typhoon cca more, though. not too many people have this setup on their cars . . .yet. i'm not sure about the hp/tq gains cuz i haven't seen a dyno on it but i like the concept of their "bypass valve" which is a silk like cover over the intake cone called a drycharger, i just think that's pretty cool =). i'd actually get the typhoon system, but i have a sedan and they only have short rams, so i'm looking into the z-tube + stillen combo instead. but too bad k&n doesn't have a v2 system out =(

 

I keep asking about the K&N intake and keep getting the same story. It is not avail on the G35c....Whats up with this?. anyone the part number for the K&N. I would really like to go with this over the Injen or nismo.
