Hi all, I just purchased a 04 G35 coupe and am ready to start the mods! I am trying to find out if a pop charger from a 350z will bolt up to a G35? Thanks for any help and by the way this is a great forum!!

 

I dont see why it wouldnt, but Im not sure exactly.

The only thing different between the two that I know of is the length. People have to get extensions for 350z exhaust, but the intake should be identical.

Only reason I was asking is that I found a good deal on one for a 350Z but the part# is different than the G35# at the JWT website. Anybody know for sure before I purchase one?

 

The heat shield is different!! G35 ones have a hole for the air duct. The 350z heatshield doesn't have a hole. Thanks guys for giving him a bad suggestion! lol

Yes it does. Actually the Z cone air filter is even smaller than ours which makes it easier to remove for cleaning. I bought one and they sent me the one for the Z instead G. I didn't know until someone else pointed out to me.

So will the heatshield for the 350z fit the G35 ?, becuase I bought one off a my350z member too but never heard about the difference until now, lol.

Same set up all the way. It is pretty much the same motor in a different body!

 

what is affcted without having the hole ?

 

The hole is a fitting for the internal hood scoop on the leading edge above the raditor. It allows air from the hood scoop to feed the PopCharger. Check out this old pict to see.
