popcharger heat shield

Im about to buy a popcharger and the guy wants to sell it without the heatshield and its off a 350z is it ok to buy the popcharger now and get a g35 heatshield lateR?

ya .. thats fine .. my rubber trimming actually came undone ... so i just took off the whole heat shield ... its looks kind of bare ... but you better get a heat shielf before the weather gets warmer
