Clearly they don't understand the purpose of the OEM flex sections. It's beyond me why Stillen didn't make this thing fully true dual with a good crossover or X-pipe. It would have been so easy.
no your right, we shouldn't jump on anything without dyno #'s but it sounds so much better than stock. i also agree that they should have went true dual w/ the x-pipe because that might squeeze out alittle more power. all in all it sounds good, looks good and i give illselluone props for being the guinea pig! i hope you get that thing dynoed soon so you can put and end to all the non believers!

Well, the problem is I don't he dynoed before the system was put on so we'll never know, at least until someone does a before and after. As we all know, you cannot trust Stillen's claims of 25whp for the dual exhaust and 7whp for their intake. I guess if sound was the only thing driving people to swap out the exhaust, the cheaper alternative would be to just put in new mufflers for $300.

I've never used Stillen products. Have they been known to advertise "questionable" gains in the past?

I think putting a Stillen sticker on the body will gain you 5 hp.

Actually, it's even been reported that you can get a mysterious push of a few hp's if you mutter "stillen" under your breath diligently enough as you drive. Apparently it's got something to do with gods and such things.

There no more guilty than any other company. They advertized the prior sedan Stillen true dual system as making 20whp, but it's been shown to only make about 5-8whp. They also claimed their UDP and Stillen intake make 7 to 10whp, but from provided dynos, the gains are 0-2whp.

sounds nice. I like it. It definitely doesn't sound like a Honda inline 4 motor. Sounds smooth and deep.
