Will AEM 350z Intake fit the sedan?

I posted this topic in the sedan forum, but I think it should have been put here...my bad. Anyway:

I've been searching the forums, and few people have said that the Nismo intake is the same thing as the AEM, except it has the bypass valve. However, I haven't found anyone who's actually installed one yet. Can anyone confirm that the AEM CAI will fit? If anyone knows of any resources for DIY or possible pics, I'd appreciate them as well.

Yes AeM will fit on the "G" but I went with the K&N intake and am retro fitting it with a AeM bypass valve.

Thanks a lot, Triji! I just ordered the silver one w/ the bypass valve as well. Any particular reason why you're switching to the K&N? Is it supposed to be better quality?

I read another post on FreshAlloy, where a guy said he had to cut the tube to make it fit on his G...I'm hoping I don't have to go that far. I should be getting it in a week or so...keeping my fingers crossed for minimal headaches upon installation.

No particular reason I guess. I just really like the quality of K&N and the sound it produces is a little deeper than the AeM from what I hear. Also it does have more shielding around the filter to protect from depris than any other brand out there.

Aem makes a great product, you should be very happy with it. I was very close to getting one myself.

Hmm...I think it's time I gave AEM a call. Would you happen to have their contact info? I tried doing a google search and can only find AEM distributors, but not AEM themselves.

I did manage to find this link tho:
http://www.350zmotorsports.com/aemcoairin.html

Claims that it fits the G...no mention of power loss tho...*sigh*
