z-tube question

I have a brand new 07 coupe and would like to do this mod. Is there anything that needs to be done besides the tube? The car is leased. Any reason I should just stay away from it? Thanks

The Z-tube has been known to rub against the AC line (well almost all intakes for the G can but ive heard it mostly on the Z-tube) , if you don't keep a eye on it it might damage the AC line = $$$ , its just the way infiniti positioned the AC line its right next to the intake tube.

doing anything to a leased car is a waste of money anyway... i say do it though, it's a minor mod with big effects (just sound though)... how long is your lease?

I am about to put in my Z tube but i've never heard about it rubbing on the AC line. Is it that common? I would like to stay w OEM Z tube, but i dont want any future problems.

If you install it correctly, it won't rub and you will have no issues whatsoever. I just installed my tube last week.

If you don't want it to rub the ac line then get Stillen Z tube. This tube is shape like a letter S so it'll will not rub anything plus it's cheap.

Ya im thinking about it, but does the Z tube have a better flow of air b/c it is straight without the "s" curve?

Here we go again!!!!! I won't argue with anyone anymore about this. Please read the "Sticky" at the top. If you have problems, come to my house and I'll freakin do it for you. You just have to pick up dog poop in the backyard for me.
