Diameter of stock exhaust?
Diameter of stock exhaust?
What is the diameter of the stock exhaust after the y pipe. I am considering having a custom exhaust made, but don't want to go crazy big. Maybe like 1/4 to 1/2 inch larger than stock with Magnaflow resonator and muffler.
Exhaust.......bigger isn't alway better!
Don't waste your $ on some muffler dudes idea of what your G needs! The
company's that put out exhaust systems for our cars spend weeks on the
dyno finding the correct size and sound. Most exhaust systems for the G
are 2 1/2" mandrel bent stainless steel pipe.....anything larger will cost you
bottom end torq. (unless you intend going forced induction) Stick with
Magnaflow, Stillen or HKS for the best cat-back systems!
