I just used the DIY to install my Nismo CAI. Shader7 did a great job writing that up. You don't know if a diy is good until you actually put it to use and let a couple of people try it out. It took me less than an hour and a half from the time I popped the hood to the time I dropped the hood.

For Shader: The only thing I did different was removing the air box with the MAF housing attached so I didn't have to worry about the 2 bottom bolts that are a pain to get to. Once you pop that out you can remove the MAF housing easily while it's out of the car. Once again, great write-up and thanks.

I would compare it to talking. From 1-4k the exhaust is talking in a normal voice. Before the cai, above 4k the exhaust would raise it's voice as if it's trying to get it's point across. Now above 4k it screams like if it was trapped in a burning building.
