HFC's Same for G35 and 350z?

I assume they are? Most market their hfc's as being both for the z and the G--same product numbers. This would seem to make sense since the headers and the y pipe are the same size and length on the G and Z. Can anyone verify? Is there a possibility that a hfc sold for the 350z would not bolt up to a g35 coupe 6m/t?

Sweet. Don't flame me guys (I know their expensive), but I ordered the weldina sports cats (they were disconituned for the cv35, but still avilable for the z33)--So I ordered them and should get them soon. I hope they complement my nismo headers, mrev and spacer. I assume I shouldn;t run a nismo y-pipe w/ nismo headers, hfc's on stock exhaust from the y back?

there would be nothing wrong with running a nismo Y-pipe but i doubt it will give you any change in power or sound. You'd be better off just waiting til you find a nice Cat-back exhaust that you like.

i HIGHLY doubt they would. You can always purchase a pair and get the car up on the rack to see if they are the same size as OEM's. But i really dont think it would work, you'll just have to wait for some companies to R&D new parts for the VQ35HR.

Are you saying a buddy of yours bought HFC's for a Z and they fit on a 2007 G35S SEDAN? What brand and model are they?
