I'm thinking about getting some test pipes to match them with my HKS Hi Power exhaust. My question is, the sound, will it drone? All I hear about is how sick it will sound. And I understand that it will be louder but how much louder, like you can hear me from a mile away louder or is it a nice growling engine louder? Can anyone chime in? Thanks in advanced.

I don't want to install something that sounds like a amplified bee in a can, if you know what I mean.

test pipes will make your car much louder. i have high flow cats, and g owners always comment on how much louder my hks is than theirs.

as far as drone, as 98intrigue. he has had experience with this setup.

 

You will have more drone, more rasp and it will be at least 20-30% louder.

 

Felony violation of Federal Clean Air Act......tampering with required emission system......especially in California where they look for such things.
