HKS Sport Exhaust sedan packaging + brackets

Well I am going to order the HKS SPort exhaust rear section and have it shipped to me in Fl while on vacation.

1. The factory packaging weighs 25lbs. Can I simply take out the exhaust, wrap it with clothes and stick it in my luggage? Any dos and donts?

2. Since I have the 06 sedan, do I need ONE or TWO brackets?

Thanks,
Clint

I replied to your PM about the bracket. You need one bracket, two rubber hangers and the bolts.

The muffler is pretty big, I am not sure you can put it in a suitcase. Stick your head under the rear of your car and take a look at the stock rear section. The HKS is a little slimmer but the stock size will give you an idea of how big it will be.

Thanks.

Yes I heard about the hangers. I know I have to buy the bracket separately. Does the same apply for the rubber hangers?

The vendor I bought mine from (Riverside Infiniti) sent it all as one package but I specifically requested the separate parts. When odering, I believe you do have order them separately as I believe the hangers are a different part number from the bracket.

One side of the rubber holes go on those metal hooks and the brackets attaches to the other end of the rubber holes.

I think you'll really like it. I've seen it on forum member chobble19's car and heard it on the dyno. PM him about the brackets to know for sure...
