Does anyone know if AAM has an account on the website? I see they advertise on the site, but do they have an account where we can ask questions?

That's way too much for a set of HF cats. I paid half that for my Kinetix ones that I had for a while. You will see about the same performance from any of them. The Crawfords seem to be the best because they use the stock mounts to help avoid cracking.

My understanding is that AAM buys a metallic-core universal fit cat, then mandrel bends the connecting pipes and welds it all together with the flanges on-site. $600 for a pair of cat's isn't too bad when you realize their cat core retails for $200 each. Having been told who they source from, I can comfortably say the cat itself is high quality.

I wouldn't do it Sean. I've read around my350z and everyone over there cites bad figment with these cats. Maybe i'm wrong though and they've fixed their fitment issues by now.
Tis a shame because from the pictures they look like real high quality. I would opt for Crawford (if they still make them), Fast Intentions or Ultimate Racing high flow cats.
