not another intake thread.

i know there is being isuees with which one is best or what not.
I am not here to make a arguement but i got a deal on injen intake for $240. i am thinking about purchasing it. I am here in az and its getting hot now. i am also thinking about the Jwt but from past threads the heat soak of Jwt questions my mind about getting it.

There is not much rain here in Az so not many puddles to go over. I have a 06 At and from searching here I found that inejn losses low end tq.

People might say get the stillen. thats another option.

Considering the heat in Az and no rain whole year what should I get.

The price will be pretty much same JWT+Ztube=195
Inejn =240, Stillen= 250

its pretty much sound gain but also i dont want to put a lot of heat

I had a couple of different intake scenarios. I eventually ended up with the Stillen Hi-Flow AirBox . . . Then I replaced the K&N cone filter, which originally came with the Stillen set-up, with the JWT popcharger cone filter. That's it, I'm done.

Stay stock unless you desire more noise from the engine compartment. There wont be any gains to be noticed. Waste of money IMO.

Before I went turbo I tried the Z-tube and pop charger (too noisy for me). Then I tried the Z-tube and K&N panel filter in stock airbox, it wasnt bad at all. I ended up going back to stock. I liked the stock intake because I could hear my Fuji exhaust at its finest.
