You're asking for opinions. They are going to vary greatly.

I think you're better off with what suits you best.

(Performance wise, Stillen, FI, and HKS all seem to give good gains, with stillen leading the way)

Goodluck

what sounds like a honda is subjective. the best advice that can be given is to hold out as long as possible until you can hear as many of these exhausts in person. local meets are a great opportunity for this.

In my opinion, I love Stillen and FI because they keep the VQ tone, just louder.

As of now, I'm with Stillen. But I swear, FI is really creaping in on me.

Ive had both the Injen Track Edition and the FI system. I switched from the Injen to the FI system because of the horrible, loud drone with the Injen. I loved how it sounded from outside the car but on the inside it was torture. The FI system is hands-down, IMO, the best system your money can buy. But, as far as how systems sound, its all subjective.

Here are some videos of my Injen system..

and one of my FI system with FI HFC:

More details

I think I might just go ahead and buy the FI 300 Cell cats, which will give me more time to think about what I want. (Stillen, FI).

I don't care about how it sounds inside as long as outside sounds great.

Did you put those FI HFC in with the exhaust or after? If you did it after did it change the sound drastically?

Also to put in the FI HFC, did they have to weld ?

Man they both sound pretty good, I'm stuck... I don't know what I should get.

Your G just sounds B E A U T I F U L

Honestly, this whole exhaust thing is a pain in the a$$. I happen to be one of the pickiest person at everything.

Stillen, Fast Intentions, and HKS are all great...

But like I said, im picky. This is how I see it:

Stillen: Love the deep stock tone of the VQ, amplified. The looks are subtle. But I have to admit, a little to stock looking for me. The power is there, and has been proven independently many times over

Fast Intentions: Love the deep sound and rumble at low RPM's, and sounds just as great at WOT. Still has that great VQ tone to it. Looks are mixed for me; it looks nice and classy, yet could look a little more aggresive to me. As far as power, I have not concluded anything. Should give you what any good exhaust should give, but I dount it tops stillen in the power department.

HKS: Sounds beautiful at idle and cruising rpm's, but a little too aggresive and high pitched at high rpm's for my taste. Looks very aggresive. The tips are huge, and should take time to get used to. It's light, and shows good gains.

Now you people see how picky I am

Thanks Skater!

I heard a coupe with Stillen exhaust on it at the BBQ meet this past weekend and I gotta say, it sounded real good. But, and its a big but, its too stock looking IMO, and if Im correct, it is not a true dual system all the way back. I believe it uses a series of y-pipes. Stillen, however, has been known to exaggerate their gains.

The HKS system, IMO, is too ricey and high-pitched sounding to me. Id rather have a deep, low roar than a high-pitched meow. Im trying to get as close to V8-sounding territory as possible. You can only do so much to a V6 to make it sound like a V8 tho. The HKS looks great, I will say that but its too popular and not my cup of tea. It does however provide great gains, some of the best out there in fact.

The Injen Track Edition, like I said before, was amazing sounding. By far, again IMO, one of the best sounding and looking exhausts out there. I only had it on my car for a short 3 months. They were a fun 3 months but I just could not stand the droning so I had to get rid of it. The gains were noticeable and supposedly were just as good as the HKS and FI systems. I replaced it with the Fast Intentions system. Which leads me to my next point..

The Fast Intentions Intimidator system is, IMO (yet again), the absolute best exhaust system for me. Its got great gains, great quality parts and welds, amazingly clean and classy looks, some of the best if not the best customer service you could ask for, fair pricing, and an amazing sound. This system is by far my favorite system, biased or not.

In the end, it all comes down to what you want. There are tons of threads about people asking which exhaust system is "the best" or which sounds "the best". There's really no one that is able to tell you which sounds the best as it is a subjective matter, a matter of opinion. Do what you want to do, not what the people want you to do. Whats right for you is right for you.
