I finally got around to making a few video clips of my car doing drive-by's, more rev shots, and a couple in-car shots with the FI exhaust. See sig for list of mods. even as an HKS owner, i must say...this clip doesnt do the FI any justice at all.

thanks for the vid! The FI exhaust is starting to grow on me. The design allows for more ground clearance. How big are the tips compared to HKS and Injen? Piping diameters? Do the mufflers have straight through flow?

 

Agreed, while the clips sound great, it sounds even better in person!

The FI exhaust is really a great system. The tips are the same size as the stock tips(4" I believe) where as the Injen and HKS are nearly 5 inches.

The FI exhaust is one of few exhausts on the market that has 2.5" piping all the way back. The Injen Track Edition is actually 2.25" piping and the quality of the piping is much less than that of the FI. The gauge(thickness, thicker is better, lower guage = thicker) of the piping on the FI is better than most other systems too which is more durable.

The mufflers are not straight flow through I dont think although Im not sure I understand what you mean by that.

I'm very impressed with the system myself and its just what I wanted. The Injen Track Edition system gave me headaches the first week I had it on my car, no joke. And then, after the first week, I still was annoyed by the obnoxiously loud droning. After I switched from the Injen to the FI exhaust, I was driving a whole new car

EDIT: After watching the video clip on my photobucket account, I must say that the quality is crap! Ive been trying sinec last night to get streetfire to host the video but everytime I upload it, it never goes through. It always gets stuck at "Video is being optimized. Please check back in a few minutes". Maybe Ill try YouTube...Anyways, enjoy!

Doesn't look straight through to me. Inlet/Outlet are on opposite sides.

 

yea injen is straight through. the looks of the FI kill it for me, but it sounds so good. i'm still torn. If only injen had FI quality and resonators. hmm....
