Ok so my exhaust rattles sometimes. I was told that my cats may have blown out. Does this sound right, if so I will just have them replaced with highflow cats. I think I saw some on ebay by OBX.

 

if your OEM cats went out and your under 80k miles, get them replaced under warranty. if you really wanna go the HFC route, stick with fast intentions, crawfordz, or random techs. the life of HFCs isnt nearly as long as the OEM cats. i'm assuming OBX doesnt use "quality" cats (as their products don't seem to be the highest of quality..ever - from what i've seen), and thus the cheaper cost. by cutting cost, youre also sacraficing the lifespan of the HFCs and you'll find yourself in this same situation not long from now.

also, before buying anything...have a local shop check it out...make sure all the hangers are in place and whatnot.

well this has taken me awhile to figure out, mainly because I didn't think the cause would be coming from my NEW exhaust. So I took my G to a local exhaust shop and had them replace the resonator with just a straight pipe. I have to say that I am happier with the results. I will take pics and a video tomorrow.
