Are there any folks out here using Magnaflow exhaust on their G?? I have an 03' coupe and looking to get some new exhaust. I had Magnaflow on my last vehicle and really liked it .... how do 6MT coupe run with them? are there better recommendations?

 

What are you looking for, sound? performance? looks? How much are you willing to spend?

Here are my personal choices (and what you will mostly hear in the forum anyway)

My top choice is Amuse R1 Titan (But it's $2150)

Other Choices are....

1. Fast Intententions Intimidator (Great sound, good gains)
2. Injen SES Track Edition Ti Tips (Great Looks)
3. HKS Hi Power Ti Tips (Great Looks,good gains)
4. Stillen True Dual (Nice enhanced stock sound but looks stock IMO)

Fast Intentions should be coming out with a Ti tip exhaust anytime now so It will finish it off by looking agressive and sounding great.

Fast Intentions VS HKS will be your biggest battle here on the forums.
IMO Fast Intentions sounds deep, agressive.
The HKS Hi power sounds deep at low RPMs but High pitched at higher RPMs

i built a custom magnaflow for my g35 6mt had it since day 1 on my car, that was 75k miles ago...great setup, sound is totally different than anything you'll hear on a G...deep grumble, no droning

 

I have a magnaflow exhaust...IT IS ****ING AWESOME!!!! It is quiet when you want it quiet....And basically I've had MANY, MANY, MANY people actually follow me and stop me to compliment me on the sound of my exhaust....I have an 03 6MT....It is sick as hell....Idk when u posted this...but Im actually headed through Baton Rouge next month and I'll be happy to fly by at 140 mph + so you can hear how sick it is haha...

 

i have a custom magnaflow only cost me 150, i used my stock tips as well. like said before magnaflow exhaust sounds different from others. especially when reving high. honestly i lower my windows power the radio off and gunn it to hear the exahaust sound.

also anyone in socal and wanna do any custom exhaust set up i have a guy who does side work at his unlces shop.

 

My Fast Intentions exhaust delivered today. Warranty card for the mufflers is from magnaflow so I guess that is what they are using.

And yes they have burnt titanium tips now.

 

That is very interesting to know the FI uses MF mufflers..I am sure I will ger blasted but why do people pay almost double for FI when it is basically a MF exhaust?

I had a MF exhaust on my Tundra and the drone was horrible...

 

Unpacked everything today. The only thing magnaflow was the resonator in the X pipe. Mufflers are Sebrings
