BTW, I'm happy I installed headers, despite the money to hp ratio, especially after a TS reflash.
^^ WTF are you talking about!? I think you may have your threads crossed...

If you really want headers go with Alphawerks or DC for the good bang for the buck. Crawfords will give you the best gains but you can get close with Aplha and test pipes.

Ceramic headers tend to chip and flake alot. Like ahero said its more durability than anything. I had DC ceramic headers on my 02 RSX-S and just from tightening the bolts I could hear it crunching and it flaked off a little. Then I got some Toda SS headers expensive as hell but worth every penny. Not that you will be under the car to look at it but SS turn colors after awhile that actuall looks kinda cool.

no, they are not the same. HFC's actually clean your exhaust...test pipes are just, well, pipes: no substrate. you get better gains on a test pipe, if you could stand the smell and the noise.

Test pipes OTOH always make good gains. And they are cheap and easy to install.

As for an exhaust system, you gan get just about anything and it will make power over the stock system.

+1 Unless you're removing the restriction that the stock cats are, headers aren't going to give you any real tangible benefit and is a real waste of money.

I gained 14 rwhp from hfc's & catback. Headers might throw your afr out of whack. Not really worth it to me.
