Any hp loss by using y-pipe instead of x-pipe exhaust system?

would there be any hp loss by using a y-pipe exhaust instead of a x-pipe exhaust? im assuming that y-pipes has more restrictive airflow out since theres only one pipe running from the y-pipe to the exhaust while the x-pipe has two pipes running from the x-pipe to the exhaust. im still trying to figure all this modifications out, but plz do correct me if im wrong because i do hope to learn more information about these amazing cars from all the g35driver.com members.

I've never really heard of a comparison b/w these two, since an x-pipe is usually associated with a true dual exhaust, while the y-pipe is not. Usually the comparisons are between an x-pipe and h-pipe, for former being better...
