Just installed Z-Tube & K & N Air Filter...

easy as hell other than closing the clip on the rightside of the airbox ...but I don't suggest doing it when it's 17 degrees outside. Arrrrrrggh....my fingers are killin me!

Did you notice any diff in performance? Have you reset you ECU yet?

Im going to do this same mod at the end of the month. Just seeing what I have to look forward too :-)

If you close the right clip on the airbox first, it is much easier...and do the ecu reset if you havent already.

Noticed a deeper exhaust tone...as far as performance goes I can't really tell cuz I'm still breaking her in...550 miles to go.

Did that...it still was a bitch cuz the K & N is thicker than the paper filter. I'm gonna disconnect the battery tonite & see if it makes a difference.

I did the same modification and it works very well, I can feel the diference, I also wrapped it in insulating tape to keep it as cool as possible.
