Where is the NIsmo for sale for $900? On Intense Motosports, I know it says $1800 but is that retail/msrp?

Re: who's the cheapest around?

yoyo,

yeah I thought the stillen would be a better quality, plus I figured I would rather have dual exhuast; see if dual exhuast reallyis a leap in performance.

Re: who's the cheapest around?

I'm sure Loren has still has valid reasons for not liking Stillen. I've read Loren's posts for several years and heard the other side of the issue. Loren, how long ago did your issue with Stillen occur? It seems to me you first posted your hate Stillen position back in 1998 or 1999 on Maxima websites.

For those who remain objective, Stillen now owns their own exhaust system manufacturing company and therefore has greater control over design and quality. Their new G35 Sedan Exhaust System and 350Z/G35 Headers confirm my opinion.

Steve Millen recently gave me a tour of the facility and I was very impressed to say the least. Steve introduced me to the General Manager, Gary. They both provided input on their manufacturing methods and quality control procedures. As I said, impressive. They're better than many and in line with the best.

The picture show their QC inspection bench. Please note the G35 Sedan Muffler section being "preped" for shipping.

Re: who's the cheapest around?

DaveO,

So you really think stillen is worth the money? I mean the stillen system estatically looks better than borla, but is it worth the extra loot to drop on the stillen. I have to say I have bought stillen parts before and I like them. I would like to know once and for all who's the got the best exhaust system.

nismo vs. stillen vs. borla??? I wish we could get some objective tests, it seems everybody and their mother has ups and downs with each company, alot of it is subjective and rightfully so, we're only human.

Re: who's the cheapest around?

miwung,

IMO, my Stillen Sedan Exhaust System is worth every penny I paid for it. While more costly than some other systems, it is significantly less costly and better made than the last system I bought from another manufacturer.

Objective tests? The info is out there. Have you seen the results of Sport Z Magazine's Exhaust Shootout? Do a search here and on my350Z. Checkout how Strickly Z advertises Stillen's Z exhaust system.

If you'll PM me your e-mail address I send you some additional information. And yes, it will be my fact based subjective opinion.
