Hello! I recently installed an invidia g200 exhaust on my coupe. I also have the FI test pipes by the way. I have noticed that if I take to around 3.5-4k RPM and then let off the accelerator, is does a strange rasp like tic tic tic noise, does that indicate an exhaust leak, or is that just the rasp from the Testpipe and true dual combo.

Oh by the way, is it normal for rasp to occur when the car is cold? seems to go away a bit when its warmed up.

 

i have an invidia. and yes it does have some rasp when engine is cold.

 

Mine doesn't have any rasp at any time. I wonder if it's my "H" Pipe Also, I don't have Test Tipes, I have Crawford Hi-Flow Cats.

mine gives a slight double pop when letting off, as for rasp i dont have much and im using Z1 resonated test pipes. then again i am using the same true dual that came off my 350z with a 8 1/2" extention so that could explain my difference.

 

I have the same exhaust with the crawford cats and do not hear that ticking noise.

recently installed invidia g200. its raspy when cold, kinda goes away when warmed up, but kinda there. what can i do to remedy this??
