HP gains for these mods?
HP gains for these mods?
What kinda of % increase or HP increase would you get if you upgrade a 05" coupe with an AEM CAI, Motordyne spacer, intake manifold, header, High flow cat, Test pipes, Y-pipes and Exhaust? I am guessing an increase in the 20-25% range. I just wanted to know from a more experienced person.

Your gains will deeply depend on the tune and type of tune. You could see 30+ HP without a tune...and possibly double that with the tune.
There are so many different intake and exhaust combinations, that your request is VERY difficult to answer...and the range I gave, woud likely cover most of your choices anyway.

Uhh. I think u need to do some more independen reseach before anyone can answer ur question. Ur q is too general and u seem a lil confused since u think u can put on both tps and hfc.

Expect nothing more than 30 whp/40wtq with basic bolt-ons & a tune (intake, Spacer, MREV, Headers, Cats, Exhaust, Tune).
As far as cams, im sure it would add some nice gains. But its a very pricey mod for an NA vehicle. Not a particular mod someone would be interested in unless they are tracking (Road Course) their car or going FI.

Unfortunately, you're not going to see an 20-25% increase in power with any NA mods on the VQ35. You'll be lucky to see about 10% with all mods you listed. Like Trey pointed out, with a $1000 tune you'll see another 3-5%. If you're looking to find easy HP, this isn't the car for you. If you want cheap and easy power, go get an LS1. Forced induction is always an option, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you have another car available because the VQ35 is not boost friendly and I'd venture to say you have about a 1 in 3 chance of blowing the motor.
Assuming you have a 6MT, I'd suggest the following if you want to be one of the quickest G35s on this site:
1) Go to the track and go often, improving your launch skills
2) Get slicks
3) Do the MREV intake manifold setup
4) Get headers and a true dual exhaust if noise and additional vibration doesn't bother you
5) Modify your stock intake with a Z-tube and some other freebies.

you need to be more specific, first of all. secondly, with all the money that you will spend...you might as well save up a little more and go f/i.
lastly, it's very difficult to just produce numbers for you since different cars will react differently to mods.
Not boost friendly??? What are ya talking about?
Simple Vortech setups are HUGELY reliable and the most bang for the buck in HP.
So your saying that between 10 and 30 FI'd cars out of 100 blow an engine??? Are you kidding me?
The engines that blow up are those that are not properly tuned once the base kit has been modified, or properly installed, or pulley'd too hard and driven crazy way too often - they somewhat deserve to blow up at some point.
Mine is a daily driver - I've had the blower on the car for over 19K miles - and that's less than a year ago, 10 months, that it was installed.
Lets be a little more realistic here...

Since I'm not FI and won't comment unless first hand - I figured I'd follow-up on your note to the bizarre comment you referenced.
so If I have a 04 G35c 6MT with 5/16 MD Spacer + JWT air filter with Ztube +Megan Racing Headers+ Kinetix Test Pipes + H-Pipe+ Inses True dual exhaust = 25HP and 30TQ?
I been thinking a Utec and a utec wide band or Orisis from uprev with innnovative LC1.
That should bring my 04 g35 to 255HP?

You shouldn't need the wideband though...a UTEC and good tune would be fine. If you were FI - then the wideband would make more sense, or if you had a built NA motor.
