Before/After Borla exhaust DYNO (Sedan 6MT)
Before/After Borla exhaust DYNO (Sedan 6MT)
Well.. as I promised.. I redyno'd again today. I installed the Borla about two weeks ago, and here's the before and after dyno.
Keep in mind that my baseline dyno has: Crawford plenum/Z-tube/K&N filter panel/Magnaflow exhaust resonator
And the only thing added with the second dyno was the Borla dual exhaust. By the way, I used the best runs from both times I dyno'd.
I'm happy
But also I'm curious as to what I would have dyno'd with the stock resonator... oh well, live and learn.

Re: Before/After Borla exhaust DYNO (Sedan 6MT)
Approximately 6ftlbs torgue and 9hp gain from the mod, added to the gains from the other mods already made. (which in the aggregate tend to cause later mods to produce less additional gains than compared to making them earlier in the mix.....not always, but often so). Pretty good result, certainly in the zone of reasonable expectations. And still ahead of the 1 hp for every $100 yardstick. I assume you are satisfied with the outcome?

Clint, I'm assuming since the topic of the thread says 6MT and that the dyno sheet says SAE corrected that those are the parameters of the dyno.
