pop charger question

hey, everybody . I am a newbie, i hope this is not an obvious question. I heard a lot about the pop charger intake. I wonder if it is legal to install one? is it gonna pass the smog check when i need to? another question for the pop charger, I saw couple post and they said "need to protect the A/C line" because the pop charger might rub on to pipe. Any suggestion on that?

Thanks a lot for reading this
waiting for ur reply

Hi ya Newbee......!

I wouldn't go with the popcharger because of heat transfer. I'm using and
wouldn't be without the Stillen airbox/z-tube combo. It contains a giant
K&N filter which I've used for years and believe in. And the big plus is that
there smog legal in Ca......how cool is that? Riverside Infiniti will sell you this
combo at a reasonable price....Jason/Tony 1-800-919-8130.....Good Luck!!

pop charger is smog legal in CA... the heat transfer is there but after the plenum gets heat soaked, i dont think the heat transfer to the pop charger affects performance as much... and it only really affects performance from a dig

Ok, more answers......

We're talking RWHP (rear wheel horse power) not very much possibly 3 or 4!
Where this mod really kicks in is when you get a better free flowing exhaust
system and then add the 5/16" spacer.....they all work togeather to give you
20 rwhp plus you'll "Love the sound!"

Does this combo require a computer or can it be installed stand alone?

It's stand alone. You don't need to have it tuned if thats all you are running.
