Re: Who wants a JWT PopCharger?
In my opinion I think the stock air box is a better setup. Although I did keep the Z tube I bought with it.
Just personal preference really.

I might join the club, I really don't care for the sound too much, for anyone that has a pop charger, what exactly does it sound like to you? I'm getting a sound that seems to amplify the exhaust..if it continues I may just sell it and keep the z-tube
Re: Who wants a JWT PopCharger?
yea, was curious also.. which is a better buy?.. the K&N or the JWT? I like the fact that the JWT is carb approved.. I've heard some gains also.. I wanna get rid of my Injen CAI. Will sell it at a resonable price...The POS got me a ticket for not being carb approved !!
Re: Who wants a JWT PopCharger?
Please sell it to me if you want to get rid of it! I've been wanting to see what all the fuss is about, but not sure about this whistling sound people are talking about.
so if I can grab one for cheap, then I'd go for it!

Re: Who wants a JWT PopCharger?
I'm the guy who bought it. It should arrive tomorrow on my doorstep. My situation is that I might also install free-flow cats, and I might not want to add the Pop charger, so I might sell it in the next couple of weeks without even installing it! Doh!
Some guys on the 350Z forum are doing dynos of the free flow cats this weekend, which have been shown to run the engine too lean. If the lean situation is indeed there, then I will not buy the cats and will install the pop charger.
By the way, the Pop charger has shown a 6.5 HP increase on a stock 350Z from an independent dyno done as an article from a car magazine. They were impressed. It's a very cheap way to increase power (be sure to add the Z tube from the 350Z at the same time).
