Im looking for a louder exhaust (I love stock) and a bit more power. Im currently looking at the FI HFC's and the test pipes. I dont care too much about smell, no big deal to me... The louder the exhaust the better, but I honestly HATE rasp, I hate it with a passion. Do the FI test pipes rasp any one bit, from both inside and outside the car? If so, I guess ill just settle for the HFC's... To those who have stock exhaust and hi-flow cats or test pipes, what are your opinions? All input is appreciated.

There is always a chance of rasp, but from what we've heard and had customers post videos, there is no rasp with the resonated testpipes and the catback. The sound clips on the site are with resonated testpipes and there are a few posts/videos around as well.

If you hate rasp with a passion, don't consider the Resonated TP's. No matter how resonated, TPs will always have rasp; how much is all up to the actual resonator itself.

From what I hear, the FI resonated test pipes have an 8 inch resonater. That's pretty big... a good thing.

But I'm in the same situation as you, and im going with the FI HFC.

PS. Ever consider the FI exhaust? I can guarantee that you will love it! Atleast I do

Wow....I didnt even check the prices? Why the hell did they go up in price so much? I remember them being $400, where the hell did $600 come from? Holy jesus...

 

Prices on CATS have not gone up at all since they were introduced.
