I know a lot of people are really picky about the parts they put on their car....for me, as long as it looks good and performs well, I am happy.

So to reiterate, if the products are very close in both cosmetic appearance and performance, the name will not matter to ME. Only the numbers!

a number of people have already had fitment issues with the xo2 exhaust.

vid/sound clips are very poor examples of what exhausts actually sound like, imo. however, sometimes they are the best resource that some people have.

it's not close in cosmetics or sound...at all.

Only the numbers!

Hey...I had Rota wheels on my 2003 WRX (EJ20) and I was running 11.7s-11.9s. The wheels never gave me any problems and they looked great....so

I chose to spend my cash on a Turbo XS Stage 4+ and a nice suspension.

It must be 3 times worse than the HKS.....because the HKS is 3 times more expensive.....right??

I see your point in buying an HKS instead of the X02....if they are not as close as some say, then my previous statements (which were based on an assumption) are not valid.

it's all subjective. what is close to someone else may not be close to me.

then again... you do have the HKS, so i would understand if someone who actually had the (real) product would be defensive. if someone a fake watch that was designed to be a replica of mine.. id badger that one to death on the basis that it just isnt the same because i paid 3 times more than he did.

to each his own...

i personally have nothing against the XO2...
if u think its a great value.. more power to u!
because simply put, it really is.

i'm all for fake products if they are the same or better than the authentics (i.e. my impul sides, the top secret front, the nismo rear diffuser, etc.)

i don't have either the ts front or the nismo diffuser but i encourage people to purchase the replicas because they are better.

i push what i believe in. who would have thought?

and it's not like i've never seen/heard the xo2 exhaust in person before. i have seen/heard it in person and it does not meet my standards as far as looks/sound goes.

believe what you want. i just don't want people wasting their money.

Mine fits great and sounds great... It is slightly deeper than the HKS but I prefer it that way. I had no fitment issues whatsoever and the tips look great. To each their own.

had it b4. sold it 2 weeks later,
1. the burned tips will look rusted after awhile
2. the exhaust was mean to be on a z than a g
3. the 8" extensions are 1 long 1 short
4. the tips tuck under the bumber
5. it rubs the rear sway bar
6. the tip melted my bumber
7. sound is okay

If the extensions are equal then maybe most of the problems could have been avoided.

Bust my ***** all you want but at the end of the day I rather have the cash sitting in my bank account than invested in an overpriced exhaust.

you'll find that most of the popular true duals out there are within the same price range.

Those that have the X02 will eventually find out why it is 1/3 the cost of HKS. HKS is legendary in the racing/performance world and their products have been proven over and over and over again over a few decades. These exhausts are engineered and tested and tuned and refined over the years. The X02 is a cheap knock off, plain and simple. Hey some people want a Rolex watch and pay the money for a Rolex watch. Some people want the look of a Rolex watch without having to pay the price for a Rolex so they go to TJ and buy a Rolux watch. But when their skin turns green from wearing the watch, they realize why it was so much cheaper. "You get what you pay for!" There's a reason why that saying even exists . . . . because it's true.
