Please search, this topic has been beaten to death, and I rather not see a rehash of the fanboys and haters going back and forth. Quick summary: X02, bang for the buck performance, HKS, bling. Then end

uhh, b/c hks SOUNDS/LOOKS better.

OP, if HKS is what you want...then don't settle. keep saving and get it if that is what you want.

if you want the look of HKS, then the xo2 exhaust will fail you there.

if you want the sound of HKS, then the xo2 exhaust will fail you there.

if you want an exhaust that has fugly burnt tips and sounds deeper than the HKS tone, then xo2 is just for you.

I personally have never seen the X02 but I've read and heard from many members on this forum that the fit and finish is very good. I compared video clips of the HKS and X02 and they both sound very similar.

If in fact they are as close as people say they are then I couldn't justify paying so much more for such a small difference. I'll take that extra $1k and out towards a real power mod like a Turbo or SC.

I know a lot of people are really picky about the parts they put on their car....for me, as long as it looks good and performs well, I am happy.

So to reiterate, if the products are very close in both cosmetic appearance and performance, the name will not matter to ME. Only the numbers!

Just got my HKS recently, sounds great and looks awsome. But after scratching it on parking lot concrete blocks within the first week, kinda wish I had gone for the X02. Not sure what the power gain is for the X02, but I can definitely feel the HP increase with the HKS.
