ok first off im new to the G35..but not modding cars. since i know there are alot of people out there that can help with this question.

i plan on swapping out my Greddy exhaust in favour for stillen and gettin a HFC..but should i change the headers out? i heard that they flow pretty dnag good for stock.. and also what about the Y-pipe? Thanks for the info....i did do some searching but nothing really answered my qeustion.. thanks again!

 

Upgrading you headers wont really do that much to the sound of your exhaust but its still a slight improvement in performance



just a suggestion, check out the fast intentions exhaust

Looks and sounds ten times better than stillen IMO

go to fastintentions.com and look at the videos.

they also have killer HFC to go with it

most on here dont have headers and it cost and arm and a leg to install

Headers, FI 300c cats and FI exhaust will make you car sound like it eats small children and animals. The headers helped a lot and they added more volume. All three are an awesome performance combo.

As far as headers - unless your really going to build the car - do FI - maybe cams - you wont see the gains you may think - like on an American V8.

With that said - headers were the 4th permanent mod on my car.

alright i checked out FI. exspensive..but from what everyone says its good. i just want to put the 5/16 plenum spacer and grounds kit. so i thought i should get rid of my axle back in favour of full exhaust. thanks for the info everyone!
