mufflers ?

are the mufflers on ebay even worth buying? i like the stock sound of the exhaust but i don't know if i should get mufflers or a whole new exhaust.

why 2 threads?

if you like the stock exhaust but want it louder get Fast Intentions high flow cats

2 exhaust that sound like stock but just louder deeper are stillen and Fast Intentions

i was looking at the meineke website and they specialize in exhaust, would they do the high flow cats?

no id stick with Fast Intentions or Craford high flow cats they are pricy but will last longer

It's illegal for an exhaust shop to remove factory CATS with high performance, non certified OEM CATS. In fact it illegal for any shop to do that and the fines are VERY steep.

Reputable shops will require you to tow your car off of the property, as they cannot let you drive away with a non-street legal vehicle that they augmented to be that way.

Remember - CATS and testpipes are for off road use only.

BTW - take the above with a grain of salt - not all shops, even reputable ones abide by the standards.

would a simple muffler tip, one from like ebay thats only 60 bucks do anything to the sound of my car

Resonated tips do very little...they can tune the sound a little bit, but primarily the reason for a resonated tip is to keep the stainless or chrome from yellowing. It acts like a heat sink.
