IMHO, I think the 07 Z has the HR35 also. I assume the manifolds/y/and cats are the same. If so, there would be a much greater chance at scoring a set of used stock stuff from them vs here.

They are already replacing the cat backs.(which tradtionally didn't swap over to the G but it might be diff now that the sedan has duals)

Quote: Damn... can't we all just get along?

But seriously... I don't know how people drive around uninsured, under-insured or get only liability. Insurance is a scam -- we all know that -- and the companies hate to pay on claims.

But I'd rather pay extra and have it when I need it, than something like this happens and I need it but don't have it.

My friend got hit in the back and he rammed the guy in front, and he only had liability. Next thing you know he's taking people to court and having to deal with that huge mess.

Yeah it came off alittle harsh, I apologize I'm not usually like that.

But seriously why isn't he driving around with collision on a 40k car?

So with the dealers all in quote being ~7500 with labor (attention G35 owners...20% of the entire price of your car is in the exhaust haha) he took it to a body shop place that said they could bend it back for $325. They ended up fixing everything for $329 (my friend gave him a $50 tip). Also, yes, I advised him to get full coverage.

shlt dude... theres a simple solution to all this, just buy a $600 exhaust (Nismo, XO2) get it installed for another $100 and stop wasting your time going to stealerships, problem solved and pointless thread could be closed

edit: oh and as far as getting it bent back, dont waste your money, once something like an exhaust gets bent outta shaped like that you can never return it to it's original form, you'll always run a fairly high risk of problems down the road, so like I said... $325, just add another few hundred and solve your problem and at the same time give yourself a nice little present with a nice sounding exhaust

Again, this is an 07 sedan. There's no Nismo/XO2 exhaust for it... your only aftermarket choices are Stillen or wait 2 months for an Impul out of Japan or something like that.
