High flow cats vs. Test pipes

sry if this is in the wrong section but i was just wondering what everyones idea is with one of these selections replacing the stock cats. Currently i have a CAI and am purchasing the kinetix v plus plenum soon and want to either run test pipes or HFC...How ridiculously loud are the test pipes? i dont want to purchase an after market exhaust so i thought maybe this would give me a louder sound with keeping the look.
thanks for the input
