Hi, first of all, this is a great place for information regarding these cars. I actually looked up information before buying the car. I have a 2007 G35 Coupe (Liquid Platinum) Sport Package, Three months old. Great car.

My question is: I've looked around and haven't found any review/ comments about APS test pipes on G35s. The other brands are always mentioned, not this one. I've seen this one (APS) mentioned more related to 350Z's. Is it a bad pipe?? I'm guesing it will work also for the G, right? Any problems related to this brand, are they "cheappy"?

APS is far from a cheappy company. I used to run alot of there parts on my WRX top notch stuff. Fitment was great and the exhaust sounded awesome. IMHO test pipes are test pipes just dont get a "ebay" brand

 

very good brand... yes they will work with the G.

they will rasp and smell like unburnt gas

Would they work fine even with the rest of the stock exhaust system? What amount of gains are we looking at? 5 or 6 whp?
