xo2 exhaust

I'm going to install my exhaust tomorrow and I'm not sure where the extension pipes go for the xo2 cat back. I'm thinking after the y pipe. But as long as the extensions are before the mufflers does it really make a difference..Anyway if it doesn't rain too bad I'll be doing the install..

The xo2 exhaust doesn't have a y-pipe.

They should go after the h-pipe, though.

Are you sure that you have a XO2 exhaust.

ok thanks. I thought that it had a y pipe because I didn't unwrap the h pipe completely.

The extensions are very hard to line up right. I hope you're going to use a lift. I installed mine with ramps and jack stands, and if I had it to do over, I wouldn't go through that much trouble again.

I didn't install the exhaust because the nuts were so rusted I didn't want to fight with them so I'm having a muffler shop do it next Saturday.

By the way I was looking at the extension pipes and one of them is kind of bent. Do you remember what side you put that on? so I can tell the installers so they don't mess up the alignment. Thanks.

My extension pipes were one piece. They may need to remove the stock rubber exhaust hangers and go with a different one to get it to line up right.

what are you talking about, extension pipes are two pieces of really short pipes. And I also want to know where those are supposed to belong.

Well, mine were 2 short pipes around 1ft welded together at one end. I purchased my XO2 off ebay, so maybe it's a bit different idk? They go directly after the H pipe, which the H pipe goes after your two cats.
