im planning on ordering the FI 300 Cell Metallic HFC's from through Function Tuned, but which one am I supposed to order: stainless steel or polished stainless steel? does it matter? or would it be smarter to call up Fast Intentions?

Your not suppose to order one over the other. It's your choice. If you like the polished look, then go for it. IMO, I don't want "bling" under my car for a few obvious reasons... especially in California.

They are both stainless steel.

unless you plan on having a lot of people look at your cats, then just get the stainless steel. polished stainless steel is just...shiny.

haha unless i raised my car like a monster truck...lol i would never do that anyway. haha lol im looking at the price and its only a $29 diff between the polished ss and the regular ss. lol but with roads around my area being the way they are, ima probably go with the regular ss.

One note all - the polished stainless will last longer ultimately - especially in snow areas. It will handle the salt much better, as the pores are polished closed and will have far less tendency to rust and breakdown.

Other than that - it's all looks...

thanks ism...i was just debating whether to order the hks/FI hfc's now before the winter or after cuz my car is lowered quite a bit, and im afraid that when the snow does come, random ice chunks are gonna scrape against the bottom and screw up my system...
