YellOW HKS??? o.0

This a question for all the HKS Hi-power Ti owners out there. I've had hi-po systems on other cars i've owned and I was wondering if your exhaust, (mufflers to be specific) have aquired a sort of yellow tinge or changed from that brilliant finish to yellow? On my other hks systems, this process didn't seem to take that long. I'm running the fuji and the finish looks no different from the day i bought it, mabe even better. I want to see how the quality of metal or finish compares.

Do you wash or polish your exhausts?
Post pics with miles on exhaust if you have any.

All the HKS systems I've seen have a slight golden brown hue to them. They're no longer a pure shiny silver.

I don't know. That just bugs the crap out of me. My fuji is the same as when i bought it. I wonder if buffing the hks on a machine would take it off. Worked wonders on my gtspec on my ep3

It occurs over time, but you can bring back to the original color / shine with a little mag / aluminum / metal polish. I bought a used HKS Carbon Ti on my IS300 a few years ago, and my friend that was helping me install it decided to try some of that polish on it and with a little elbow grease it came right back to normal.
