you cannot combine an aem intake and a z tube.

i have yet to see a dyno chart that shows any gains from a cai. the z tube doesn't enhance performance either. throw a k&n panel filter in your stock airbox, keep it clean, and save your money for a spacer.

not really looking for speed, theres no time in the future where i plan on reaching 130 mph. and plus a relative just got into a fatal accident, had a 1999 m coupe. just really looking for sound. do the stillen cai and z tube help out more with speed and hp or are they more for looks and sound ?

the z-tube/pop charger set up is pretty loud. i like the sound but i dislike what seems like a loss in low end response.

The problem when it comes to intake and exhaust choices is that sound is very very subjective and what might sound "great" to one person, may sound not so great or even raspy to others. You're best bet is to try and find someone locally with the setup(s) u r interested in and then make an informed purchase.

not confusing. stillen airbox and pop charger are two different kinds of intakes. both sit in the engine bay--stillen has a box around it like a factory airbox and the pop charger is basically a cone filter/sometimes with a heatshield around it.

ztube is the part going from the intake into the throttle body.
