I took my car for an oil change they told me my ac line was about to blow ? What was happening was the stillen air box sits rubbing on the ac line...so what they did was just put a rubber hose on the line so it dosnt damage it. Hope this helps.

 

This was a known issue when I installed mine 4 years ago. Make sure it doesn't rub or it is very costly.

 

They should make this a sticky.

 

Didn't know the Stillen has this same issue of rubbing A/C line like the JWT pop chrgr. Good to know.

I used electrical wire loom tubing on my A/C line.

if it does break, what's the estimated cost to fix a broken AC line?

sorry man, i don't have the exact $$, but it is not cheap.

 

About $150 for the line, $100 for labor and another $100 to service the A/C system.
