I want one that looks good, sounds great, and offers the most hp I can get, and from the research that I did I found it to be Fast Intension. I would have choose HKS, I think it looks amazing and sounds just as good. But F.I. can give me 5 more whp and look almost as good with the titanium tips and F.I. has outstanding quaility and does not have any droning. So they say, mine has not shown up yet.
Yes, generally people are looking for an increase in performance when they mod their cars. However, as I was saying, the difference is "gains" between HKS and Fast Intentions is, IMO, negligible. From the dynos that I've seen, neither HKS or Fast Intentions (or Stillen for that matter) consistently yield more power than the other(s). It's accepted by most that FI, HKS, and Stillen offer the most gains - all being withing ~5whp on average. That, IMO isn't enough to warrant one exhaust over the other. So then comes in the looks/sound factors to help people choose which exhaust best suits them.

Don't get me wrong, the FI system is great. But I have yet to see it put down a consistent 5whp over HKS and Stillen (the same goes for HKS and Stillen).

AMUSE is sweet indeed, but comes with a huge price tag, lol. What's the deal with this X02, HKS knockoff, I see people talking about. Also I got quoted on the FI exhaust, all in one, same as HKS.

Somebody said something earlier about the Injen drone. Honestly I like the drone, I had a Dixis full titanium exhaust on my old BMW.

Injen drones like a mother****er but if that doesn’t bother you then get it… it sounds sick… but we have had a few members get new exhaust after a week with the Injen because the drone is that bad..

i still vote Fast Intentions FTMFW you might wanna wait and check this out

Lots of negative thoughts on the Injen, maybe I should listen to you guys and skip that setup. I only wish I could hear different setups in person, but since I'm in Europe right now it's impossible so I will have to rely on your input on this.

It'll really help if any of you guys ever heard the Dixis Ti exhaust for the E46 M3 and compare the drone between the two (Injen vs. Dixis).

I really appreciate you guys for helping me out and offering your thoughts on different systems !

*EDIT*

This is what I got regarding the FI system:

Quote:
"The Fast Intentions is $999 for the aluminized, $1149 for the stainless steel, and $1299 for the Polished Stainless Steel. Shipping is $75 to the west coast, $100 mid-west, and $125 to the east coast. the exhaust is absolutely beautiful looking, and sounds like great retaining the VQ35 sound and making it a hell of a lot better. The Ti Tips are an extra $50. Give us a call at 1-800-959-0145 ext 2 to order or to discuss more details. I stand behind this exhaust over the HKS, Greddy, and a list of others."

I'd give it a 5, I loved it's drone around the 2500 rpm range.

I had the injen exhaust for about 3 weeks before selling it.. Sounds great at low RPM's but WOT was ricey sounding to me. Also the drone with the windows down wasn't all that bad, but with the windows up its a little overwhelming I would go for the FI but money wise the Invidia G200. just my .02 cents
