I will like to know what is the general opinion on Borla exhaust Kit. Not if its better or worst than any particular brand. Where do you guys wil rank it!

from what i here and see from threads its a crappy exhaust... i rate it a 1

 

I personally really like it. I like the OEM sound but much more noticeable and moere howling... I am not a big fan of BROOM!!BROOM!!!! kinda exhaust... So if you love something not so loud yet it has a nice sound... Borla it is!

 

Borla is okay, alot of people like the Stillen or HKS exhausts.

 

are you eventually going to do FI, if you do, don't get Borla. That was the mistake I made. I got Greddy Evo TT after I got FI, not loud at all.

i have a borla and love it... and no its not one of the crappiest exhausts out there if u've scene as much as i have... the stillen and HKS are too loud for me anyways and it comes with a million mile warranty

 

ok i wont say its the crappiest... its one of the least popular exhaust thats out...

 

I have a friend who has one on his 350. I used to think it was too quiet for my taste because he had an extra set of resonators welded in.

Then he put test pipes on it. Still soft, but much racier sounding. In my opinion, the perfect "sounding" exhaust for a G. Still mean when you stand on it, but not "LOOK AT ME!!!"

As for performance......... he has test pipes, borla, and a popcharger and he only put down 10whp more than my stock motor did. So I couldn't say for sure if it did anything or not.

 

Nothing wrong with the borla as i have had it for 4 years.It is not to loud and even with test pipes and my twin turbo,s i sounds real good when you want it to.And it dosent have that look at me sound when the popo is around.

 

If i could do it over again i would have gotten the nismo exhaust with the extender for the G35, it sounds AMAZING.

 

I have borla exhaust with FI, no problems, love the sound. not to loud. Stillen and Hks are good choices also.
