I would say keep if if you can. You never know when you may need it. Aftermarket exhausts are only appetising to an enthusiast. If you were to ever sell or trade in, they would want the stock setup. I keep all stock parts practicable for this reason.
And if you ever get rid of the car, you can sell the aftermarket exhaust to someone for several hundred or so.

Re: Do I scrap the stock exhaust?
i would say keep it also, at least just the muffler in case you get pulled over for repair order. i don't have one on current car, but i got pulled over many times for aftermarket exhaust on previous ride. it's just too much hassel when it comes to have it inspected without stock exhaust. any aftermarket exhaust other than stock is pretty much illegal here regardless the fact that it's being 50 state legal. many people won't appreciate the aftermarket exhaust either when you sell your vehicle.

Re: Do I scrap the stock exhaust?
i agree with everyone who said keep the exhaust.. like they said, dealers, the majority of the time, want everything to be returned with the stock setup.. there are occasions where they will take the cars with mods, but they don't give u fair value for the mods anyways.. best thing to do is to jus hold on it IMO..

Re: Do I scrap the stock exhaust?
I'm thinking about changing the exhaust from the headers back. I am going to keep my stock exhaust to re-install when I sell the car. 9/10 people won't appreciate the new exhaust anyway. In addition you could sell your aftermarket exhaust for at least .50 or more on the dollar considering it's not really a wear item.
