Sound Clip: Fast Intentions Intimidator Exhaust + F.I Resonated Test Pipes

I got a few requests for sound clips, so I decided to do a little stand-still reving video of my 06 Coupe 6MT with the Fast Intentions Intimidator Exhaust paired with Fast Intentions Resonated Test Pipes.

You don't see many F.I Exhausts with test pipes, which is why I decided to do the sound clip.

I will post a motion-video when I have the time; hopefully this weekend! I hope this helps any of you out there pondering about this setup.

The video/audio quality is decent at best. *Cold start*:

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/U-9T9o5oJQs&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/U-9T9o5oJQs&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

Few outside clips:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ScFmEKwlfT4&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ScFmEKwlfT4&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Feel free to comment or ask questions

skater,

your FI exhaust sounds a lot different from mine or others. yours has a higher pitch to it whereas the ones i've heard are all very deep. Mine is pretty damn deep. I got the Intimidator + FI 300 cell HFCs. Maybe it's your TPs....

Actually, something I was going to point out was the fact that this video (or camera) doesn't really show its "deep" characteristics. Yeah, the test pipes made it "growl" alot more, but it has made it even deeper than the F.I Exhaust with stock cats.

First time I heard it from 3rd person (let my brother do some drive-by's), I couldn't believe how deep & loud it was, especially during 50% throttle & 4k shifts. I could hear the "deepness" of the setup from blocks away

I really like the new sound. It sounds VERY 'exotic'. Whereas before it was more "tame", now it growls alot more, and is deeper too. But its a little too loud for daily driving

It's not raspy at all. During daily driving... Zero rasp.

If I step on it at low RPM's, there's very little rasp at WOT at around ~2.7k rpm's. And I mean very little. It doesn't bother me at all because I can't even notice it unless I pay alot of attention. And this is coming from someone who HATES rasp (me)

sounds awesome Fast Intentions sound clips are hard to come by so try to make an under-load video and maybe a in-car vid too, I'd like to hear it.

I just got my FI Intimidator today and I could not be happier! I've gone from HKS to GReddy and now to the Intimidator. Not only am I happy but my Vortech is happy too. Great exhaust system.

Whats the difference beteen the 300cell HFCs and the 400cell HFCs?

Also I'm looking for the DEEPEST (V8 resembling sound) possible, I had an STI so i'm picky with how my exhaust sounds. I like the deep growling sounds with ZERO RASP and louder than stock but not TOO LOUD
Which will be my best bet for what i'm looking for?

1.FI Intimidator with resonated Test Pipes
2.FI Intimidator with NON-resonated Test Pipes
3. FI Intimidator with 300cell HFC
4. FI Intimidator with 400cell HFC
