Polished aluminum alternative to stillen or oem ztube?

I really don't want to pay stillen $75 for a plastic tube. Nor to I want to pay whatever the going rate for the oem ztube.

Where can I get a polished aluminum or colored anodised tube? Don't want a full CAI. I'm ok with the stock air filter box. Need just a tube for between the TB and the stock airbox.

Me too, find a FI(TT,ST,SC) 350Z owner, and ask him for his stock intake tube.

CF vs Polished Aluminum.........?

This CF unit should be better for the heat issue than aluminum. There's no
reason why this shouldn't fit, everything seems to be there. How long will
the CF last with the heat that's gererated under our hoods? Even CF hoods
start to look funky and have to be sanded/clearcoated. I vote for the plastic,
looks clean with zero heat soak issues!

so I was ready to buy the carbon fiber tube I posted above but then I found this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-G...spagenameZWDVW

Seller claims the one I first posted doesn't have the MAF sensor hook up. I'm assuming it is the square opening on the pic. can anyone confirm this. The cai's i have looked at only have the pvc hook up. Where exactly does the MAF go?

damn I hate being a noob.

Looking at the pic, it should go where his says it should go. I circled it in red. However I would ask for pic's of that area, to see how it would be mounted to tube. (What I mean by that how are the screws going to stay in place???)
